Wayne MacDonald

Wayne MacDonald is a highly respected martial artist, competitor, and instructor with decades of experience in Karate Budokan International (KBI).

Beginning his training at the age of 11 and teaching from 16, he has dedicated his life to developing students through discipline, skill, and character. He has developed under the guidance and mentorship of Richard Chew.

A former multiple State, National, and World champion, he represented Australia internationally over a 17-year career and has coached athletes to success at national and international levels.

As Chief Instructor, Wayne plays a key role in maintaining and raising the technical standards of Budokan Karate across Australia and internationally.
